Celebrating Independence Day with Food for the Needy
This Independence Day, Aapke Saath Foundation, a trusted NGO for food donation in India, is launching the Freedom from Hunger Drive. On 15th August, our team will organise a large-scale food distribution for poor and homeless people to celebrate the true spirit of freedom. While the nation celebrates its 78th Independence Day, many underprivileged people still struggle for a basic meal. This campaign aims to bring them not only food but also dignity, hope, and a reason to smile.
What’s Inside the ₹100 Food Plate
The Independence Day food donation drive will serve fresh, nutritious, and festive meals to hundreds in need. Each ₹100 plate will include:
- Two seasonal sabzi
- Rich and creamy matar paneer
- A sweet dish for the festive touch
- Fresh salad
- Four soft chapatis
- Steamed rice
This wholesome plate is designed to provide the right balance of taste and nutrition, offering carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. For many, it will be a rare chance to enjoy such a special festive menu.
